Who makes up the PRCE?
The Pregnancy Resource Center East was established in 1996 by a small group of concerned Christians. In the beginning, there were only enough volunteers to open the office for a few hours a week. Today, the Center’s staff and dedicated volunteers fill the jobs of teachers and facilitators, peer counselors, and office workers. Pregnancy testing and other services are offered five days a week! In addition, over the years various medical and health professionals have volunteered their time and talents to enhance the services that the Center can provide the women and men who turn to us for help.

How do we fulfill our mission?
The mission of the PRCE is two-fold:
1. to reach the abortion-vulnerable woman
2. to tell every client about the love and salvation of Jesus Christ
These objectives are achieved by:
- educating our clients about fetal development, abortion, adoption, and abstinence
- helping the post-abortive woman (or man) through a ministry of healing and forgiveness
- witnessing to every client during their initial and subsequent visits to show the love and mercy of Jesus Christ present in themselves.

Why does the PRCE exist?
In a day when abortion is regarded by many as a logical end to an unplanned pregnancy, the ministry of the Pregnancy Resource Center East is more crucial than ever. People need to know the true cost of the procedure – not in dollars and cents, but in life regrets.
It is our prayer and purpose to provide women hope for the future by helping to meet their physical, emotional, and, most importantly, spiritual needs. We want them to know that they are not alone in their crisis and help them recognize that in a world of confusion and disappointment, God and His love never change. Then, each day, by God’s grace and the generous support of our donors and volunteers, many women will make a choice they won’t regret.
