PREGNANCY RESOURCE CENTER EAST
Bridging the gap, from crisis to resolution
Pregnancy Resource Center East is located in Baytown, Texas, and serves East Harris, Chambers, and Liberty Counties. It exists to help women and men currently facing crisis, or unplanned, pregnancies become aware of all their options and make informed decisions. For those experiencing problems due to past abortions, the Center can help find appropriate counseling to resolve those issues, too.
The Center provides a full range of services to clients and all are completely free and confidential. Services include pregnancy testing, comprehensive pre-abortion counseling (sometimes including a free ultrasound)*, parenting classes for both the mother and father and assistance with maternity and baby clothes and other necessary baby items. Center counselors can also supply information on various adoption alternatives.
These efforts are made possible due through generous, committed supporters who provide financial support, volunteer their time, and donate needed baby items to provide these quality services. *In Texas, women have the legal right to receive pre-abortion counseling.
