President: Dave Jirrels

A native of Wichita, Kansas, Dave Jirrels graduated from Wichita State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science. He later moved to Texas and made the decision to enter funeral service. He then earned an Associate Degree from Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service in Houston, and for the last fifteen years has served the families of Baytown as a dedicated funeral professional. In 2005, he joined Anthony and Madeleine Crespo of L.A. Crespo Funeral Directors and together formed their new partnership, Crespo & Jirrels Funeral and Cremation Services. Dave is active in a multitude of leadership roles in local civic organizations including serving as board president of Pregnancy Resource Center, board chairman of the Baytown Chamber of Commerce, chairman of the Civil Service Commission, board president of the Bay Area Heritage Society, and past president of the Kiwanis Club of Baytown. He brings an unwavering passion for excellence, is committed to the families who have placed their trust and confidence in him, and welcomes the opportunity to continue serving his community as a knowledgeable and compassionate source of support for those who need it most.


Vice President: Jared Lee

Jared was born and raised in Baytown. He remembers volunteering at the PRCE clinic when he was in high school, helping with landscaping and maintenance. Jared has earned a master’s degree in divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Liberty University. He is also currently working towards a PhD in historical theology from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

 Jared currently serves as the pastor of Northside Baptist Church in Highlands. He is married to Brianna and they have one son. He is excited to serve PRCE and is enthusiastic about the future of this ministry.

Secretary: Rosa Lofton

Rosa is native of Kilgore texas. She comes from a family of seven boys and four girls. A very active member of Holy Trinity Catholic church in Mont belvieu Texas. Served on the Parish Council and is involved in Young Family Ministry group as well as a charismatic women group.

Is on the Family life Commission Board for the Diocese of Beaumont. Is married to Brandon Lofton and has four wonderful children. Currently employed with Strike Construction. Very excited and looking forward to a great year with Pregnancy Resource Center.

Secretary: Melanie Wingate

Melanie Wingate was raised and currently lives in the Highlands area. She is a Realtor with Bates-Brinkley Realty in Baytown. Melanie is married to Brian Wingate and has 2 children. She is active in volunteering with youth and teaching Sunday School to young adults at First Baptist Church Highlands. She also a volunteers with Kids Beach Club, a Christian ministry that goes into public schools on a weekly basis (after school hours) to share the good news of Christ. Her passion is for others to find freedom and forgiveness through Jesus.

Executive Director: Gail Davis Duhon

Gail has been involved with this ministry since the first training over 20 years ago. She is the current Executive Director since 2012 and was the Center Director 2004-11. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management. Gail, a mother of 4, is active in her church, The Source Church, and serves as Director of Children's Ministry.  She is also on The Source Church's Advisory Board.  Gail serves on the board of directors for Global Contribution (Terra Nova Children's Home).

Member at Large: Denise Pratt

Attorney at Law - Family Law, Judge of the 311th Family Court

Denise has had over 18 yrs of experience in cases involving all aspect of family law. She's had training in family violence by HPD Domestic Violence Unit and Baytown Police Citizens Academy. She has also received training by Suicide Hotline and Charter Lakeside Drug/Alcohol Rehabilitation.

She was appointed by the Governor in 2007, and continues to serve on the Board of Social Workers Examiners. She has mentored numerous children, taken foster children into her home, sponsored children from girls/boys homes, and continues to provide support systems for youth who 'graduate' out of the CPS system, so that they may become independent, productive adults. Her goal has always been to strengthen families and give children a better future.


Member at Large: Alan Eschberger

Started with PRCE in January of 2021. Husband of Tammy Eschberger (33 yrs)

Daughter - Tani Muschalek and husband Christopher. Daughter - Abby Hilferty  and her husband Troy. Grandson - Grayson Hilferty. Daughter Maddy Eschberger. I’m the current Pastor of Coady Baptist Church and been a member there for five years. I’m a bi-vocational pastor. Current pastor at Coady and work full time for Siemens Healthcare as a Project Manager Also serve on the Advisory board of the School of Project Management at Houston Community College.
