President: Dave Jirrels

A native of Wichita, Kansas, Dave Jirrels graduated from Wichita State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science. He later moved to Texas and made the decision to enter funeral service. He then earned an Associate Degree from Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service in Houston, and for the last fifteen years has served the families of Baytown as a dedicated funeral professional. In 2005, he joined Anthony and Madeleine Crespo of L.A. Crespo Funeral Directors and together formed their new partnership, Crespo & Jirrels Funeral and Cremation Services. Dave is active in a multitude of leadership roles in local civic organizations including serving as board president of Pregnancy Resource Center, board chairman of the Baytown Chamber of Commerce, chairman of the Civil Service Commission, board president of the Bay Area Heritage Society, and past president of the Kiwanis Club of Baytown. He brings an unwavering passion for excellence, is committed to the families who have placed their trust and confidence in him, and welcomes the opportunity to continue serving his community as a knowledgeable and compassionate source of support for those who need it most.

Vice President: Jared Lee

Jared was born and raised in Baytown. He remembers volunteering at the PRCE clinic when he was in high school, helping with landscaping and maintenance. Jared has earned a master’s degree in divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Liberty University. He is also currently working towards a PhD in historical theology from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Jared currently serves as the pastor of Northside Baptist Church in Highlands. He is married to Brianna and they have one son. He is excited to serve PRCE and is enthusiastic about the future of this ministry.

Secretary: Kristine Vermillion

Kristine is the wife of Bryan and the proud mother of Noah, Gentry, and Shelby. She and her husband have been supporters of the PRCE since they married in 2001. She is currently the VP of Finance for her family’s small manufacturing and wholesale distribution company, Glove Guard, LP. She also serves as the Editor for Five Aspects Ministries. She is a member of Rollingbrook Fellowship and regularly serves on the music ministry team there. She holds a Master of Theology degree from Dallas Theological Seminary, a Master of Literature degree from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities, and an Associate of Science in Nursing. She also serves as President for the Southeast Texas Choral Society, is a board member for the Baytown Symphony Orchestra, and has recently become a board member of the PRCE. Community College.

Treasurer: Nancy Hall

Nancy began to first work on forming PRCE in early 1993 with a steering committee. She is an active member of Memorial Baptist Church. She is married to Mark Hall and have three adult children and one granddaughter.

Member at Large: David Truncale

David Truncale: Began serving at PRCE in 2003 as a member of the Board of Directors. He attends: Alliance Bible Church. Married to Donna Truncale and have three children and 8 grandchildren. David graduated from Lamar University and Lee College. He has worked in Accounting, Computer Science, Law Enforcement and Chaplaincy.

Executive Director: Gail Davis Duhon

Gail has been involved with this ministry since the first training close to 30 years ago. She is the current Executive Director since 2011 and was the Center Director 2004-10. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management. Gail is a mother of 4, and grandmother of 4. She serves on the board of directors for Global Contributions (Terra Nova Children's Home).

Member at Large: Alan Eschberger

Started with PRCE in January of 2021. Husband of Tammy Eschberger (33 yrs)

Daughter - Tani Muschalek and husband Christopher. Daughter - Abby Hilferty and her husband Troy. Grandson - Grayson Hilferty. Daughter Maddy Eschberger. I’m the current Pastor of Coady Baptist Church and been a member there for five years. I’m a bi-vocational pastor. Current pastor at Coady and work full time for Siemens Healthcare as a Project Manager Also serve on the Advisory board of the School of Project Management at Houston Community College.

Member at Large: Jacob (Jake) LeBlanc
Jake grew up in Baytown and graduated from Sterling High School. He received his Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral degrees from Sam Houston State University in the field of education. He worked briefly as a teacher in Huntsville, but spent most of his career as an administrator in Katy. He and his wife, Melissa (school counselor), both retired from Katy ISD and have relocated to Beach City to be near their parents and family. They have been married over 30 years and have 3 grown children; Nathan- Oil Industry Employee, Zach- Computer Engineer and Hannah-P.A. school student. They are members of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Jake is active in his church, loves spending time with family/friends, loves being outside and has started mentoring
in Barbers Hill ISD.

Member at Large: Dennis Cowles
Born and raised in the Canal Zone, Panama, Dennis spent his formative years in the tropics before finding his way to the great state of Texas in Austin in 1990. He held several management positions with retail stores such as Rooster Andrews, Golfsmith International where he met his wife, Dena, and Converse. His management career led him to Hawaii where he spent almost two decades. The opportunity to operate his father-in-law's pest control company and continue the legacy of Acme All Pest Exterminators (50 years and counting) paved the way back to Texas in 2014. Dennis is currently on the board of the Greater Houston Area Pest Control Association as Treasurer and has been an active member for nine years. Dennis and his wife of 27 years have one daughter, Kaylee, who is a Senior at Baytown Christian Academy, and the family passionately supports life. They attend Second Baytown and most Sunday’s you will find them serving as greeters. Dennis is also an active board member at Second. Dennis is excited to serve as a PRCE board member and brings 30+ years of business management experience.
