Gianna Jessen

 

Meet Gianna…a survivor of a saline abortion.

Gianna Jessen was intended to die before she was born, just another one of the 1.2 million abortions each year in the United States. Instead of death, though, Gianna was bathed in a burning saline solution, but she overcame to enter the world.  Overcoming the challenges & sharing life in an honest way has resonated around the world and filled her life with speaking engagements from the halls of government in Australia and the British House of Commons to the United States Congress. Her story has been conveyed by Pope Benedict XVI in the Vatican newspaper.  Another door opened with the 2012 movie October Baby, which was loosely based on her life story with the song  “Ocean Floor” sung by Gianna.
