Hope Coordinator Assistant Description & Position Summary

 

The Hope Coordinator Assistant will be the helper for the Hope Program Coordinator at Pregnancy Resource Center East. The Hope Coordinator Assistant aids in the preparation of program classes, checks in students, files course work, maintains order in the center during classes, overseeing the security and safety of students, facilitators, and volunteers. The Hope Coordinator assistant shift would be on Tuesday evenings from 4pm to 8pm. *Additional hours may be required, but not likely. Reports to: Hope Program Coordinator.

 

Qualifications:

  • Be a committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

  • Exhibit a strong commitment and dedication to the sanctity of all human life.

  • Agree with and be willing to uphold the Statement of Faith, Principle and Commitment to Confidentiality.

  • Must be self-motivated and directed.

  • Must be organized and well structured.

  • Possess patience and persistence.

  • Handle conflict with grace and a positive attitude.

  • Enjoy people and interaction with many different types of groups and individuals.

  • Possess computer and technical skills to complete needed tasks such as, ability to use Word, PowerPoint, Excel, use a copier, email, fax, text message etc.

  • Must be reliable and responsible.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Setup classrooms with proper course work (worksheets, DVDs, brochures), learning materials (pens, paper, etc.) and water.

  • Check-in students and file returned homework.

  • Help maintain order at the front and in the center as needed.

  • Assist Hope Coordinator with unfinished or demanding tasks as needed.
